Privacy policy

Prepared for the replacement Epic Dough storefront on October 27, 2026.

Information used for your order

Epic Dough collects the name, email address, phone number, ordered items, selected date and time, and delivery address that you provide at checkout. We use this information to process and fulfill orders, provide support, handle refunds, and send order-related messages. Test checkout is for fictional details only.

Payments and service providers

Square provides the secure payment form and processes payments. Our website receives payment tokens and transaction results; full payment-card numbers are not stored in the storefront order database. Netlify hosts the website and stores order records. As you type a delivery street address, that address text is sent through our server to Geoapify to provide address suggestions. You can enter an address manually if suggestions are unavailable. Completed delivery addresses are submitted to the U.S. Census geocoder to check location and eligibility. Once connected, Resend will handle customer confirmations and owner order alerts using order and contact details.

These providers may process technical information such as IP addresses and browser information to operate and secure their services. Their own privacy notices also describe their practices: Square, Netlify, Resend, and U.S. Census Bureau, and Geoapify.

Browser storage and marketing

Your browser stores your cart locally. It also stores a signed access token for your current checkout in session storage so you can restore its status after a reload. Anyone using the same browser session may be able to view that checkout. Checkout details do not subscribe you to marketing. Customer accounts, newsletter signup, and advertising tracking are not enabled in this replacement storefront.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics on public storefront pages to understand page visits and estimated visitor and session counts. Analytics uses cookies and identifiers and processes technical information such as browser and device details, network information and approximate location. We send the public page address and title, without URL query parameters, search text or referring-page URLs. This is not anonymous or data-free measurement.

We do not load Analytics on checkout, the owner dashboard, cart, search or test pages, and we do not send customer contact information, delivery addresses, order details, payment details or purchase events to Analytics. Advertising tracking, Google Signals and ad personalization are disabled. Automatic enhanced measurement of searches, forms and outbound links is disabled.

The site does not load Analytics when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. You can also use browser cookie controls or Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking Analytics does not prevent ordering. See Google's privacy policy for information about Google's processing.

Retention, security, and your choices

We retain information as needed to fulfill orders, resolve issues, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. We use restricted access and secure connections, but no system can guarantee perfect security. Do not email payment-card details or passwords. Contact us to ask about access, correction, or deletion of your information; some records may need to be retained for legal or transaction purposes.
